test reader

I was very pleased to receive consistently positive feedback from the test readers for my latest book project. Now it's time to incorporate their suggestions and corrections and then have the book proofread. The good thing is that hardly anyone takes the German language too seriously anymore, and I can therefore afford to overlook one or two spelling mistakes. In addition, I allow myself to continue to do without the meaningless "genders", because I can still come up with content and my own ideas.

round of meetings

The weekend was blessed with quite a few meetings, both virtual and real. They were all very productive, entertaining and also motivating. It is to be hoped that the further meetings and meetings can again be held more as face-to-face events.

Gerberstrasse

I'm happy to have this morning letters to the editor read in the Heilbronner voice to the Neckar arc. These nailed it. Unfortunately, however, it is all too human that city administration employees or municipal councils like to jump for districts if it also serves their own personal interests.

The fact that both the municipal council and the city administration did not pay much attention to the northern inner city for decades may also have been due to the fact that their personal interests tended to lie around Fleiner Strasse. So it's already good that there is a change of interest in the Neckar arc. However, it would be better if Heilbronn were viewed holistically and could come up with a coherent and sustainable concept of how the whole of Heilbronn's infrastructure could at least be adapted to today's conditions.

However, it should be undisputed that the public order office and paid security and cleaning staff are responsible for the entire city and should therefore also be active in the entire city.

And as far as Gerberstrasse is concerned, one could have long since followed the city of Stuttgart, for example, and very generously designated all areas that have cross streets as pedestrian crossings — since Gerberstrasse, like Lammgasse, is also part of the racetrack for city administration employees, such should be allowed simple solutions are still decades away.
