For another club, I can currently focus all my attention on legal matters. And there would be plenty of other things to do in the coming months. Slowly but surely we are making progress here as well and are closing our own ranks more and more. However, this leads quite logically to further projects and tasks, which then also have to be solved or even mastered.
That's why I'm very happy that I'm with you Herbert Burkhardt have a comrade-in-arms who also likes to lend a hand and get things moving. And so I will soon be adding a May celebration to my appointments, which we - and this hardly surprises any of my readers - in and around the Neckarhalle will host.
But before we start looking for other comrades-in-arms, let's meet tonight for the first time Free voters' get-together of the year. And I'm very happy about that Franz Schirm also took over the coordination of these regulars' tables.
And by the way, I notice that the exam date at the university is getting closer and closer, because I get more and more e-mails about it. Which doesn't surprise me at all, because I was also a student once and have to admit that I only really became aware of some exams when it was actually much too late for them. However, I was able to determine that pressure, spin and speed not only have an invigorating effect on me, but also increase my own creativity.
From the most recent e-mails, I now realize that this also applies to other fellow human beings; in any case, the quality of the individual corresponding e-mails increases significantly.

In the follow-up to some meetings, I am now faced with the question of whether we as an association should dare to make a big splash this year. Last year I presented several ideas to the district assembly on how we could develop further in the coming years and we received the approval of the members for one or the other, sometimes daring project.
But now it is becoming apparent that we could get the opportunity to tackle a very exciting idea as early as this year. And no sooner had I brought this up than the phones were running hot. Most of the people we spoke to not only think our club is far too small for that, but also believe that Heilbronn itself is too weak overall or that there is no need for such ideas among the people of Heilbronn.
As a team worker, it immediately occurs to me that one could join forces with other interested parties, and as a long-standing, mostly involuntary consumer of advertising, I also think that the supply at least has a say in the demand. And so I am now faced with the question of whether we should dare to take the big shot or start the race with the small throw, which is typical for the country.
In any case, we will tackle one idea this month, whether this will then be crowned with success, that will be seen in the coming years; because we try to establish local groups of our association in the twin towns. Another idea is being worked on in cooperation with the state association and it is becoming apparent that this can ultimately be implemented slowly but surely.
Due to an offer of cooperation from our federal association that was surprising for us but very welcome, which raises the cooperation to a new level, we want to offer the Hertenstein Talks to a slightly larger group of participants and thus also inspire many people from Heilbronn for this very exciting format. And since we have now found very attractive and suitable premises for this, which also offer the possibility of implementing another project just around the corner, some European federalists - including myself - immediately began to dream.
And when an initial query revealed that the two could be combined very well in terms of the premises and that another idea could become a reality, we are now faced with the question of whether we should dare to take this big step? For this we need 100 participants for the discussion groups of the Hertenstein talks, which would then almost be a doubling and for the evening event 400 citizens interested in balls who are ready to dress up a little for a wonderful evening of dancing; in this case we would have more than quadrupled compared to the previous year!
Without question, our association and our members will also be able to handle this project and will certainly make it a highlight in the Heilbronn event year, but the big question still remains whether there will be enough Heilbronn residents and guests from outside who will appreciate this?
